Got a big set of character ash here! A little, spalting, some knots, grain swirl, a punky edge...this set has a bit going on with it but has some great widths and grain. Some reductions have been made to exclude more major defects. The reductions made on the edges of a few pieces are for some punky edges that are really soft/rotten.
This set air dried for ages, and the top slab, slab #1, was completely greyed out by weather. The color can be restored by surfacing, but check out the close up shot of piece 1. It's pretty cool!
