Quartersawn Beech blanks sorted specifically to be used making traditional hand planes. After producing thick quartersawn beech for a number of years in small volumes and not having the time to keep up the efforts on this small volume we've decided to go to our friends in Germany to source some "grade A" blanks. The blanks are approximately 4" square by 32" long.
The 32" long blanks have a moisture content of 9%. They are knot-free and 100% sapwood.
The price for the beech blocks are $16.50/bdft. Volume discounts for orders over 35 bdft.
On smaller volume orders UPS can handle (3) of the 32" pieces in their standard shipment sizes. Please contact us for shipping estimates based on your location.
