This boule of curly cherry has exceptional figure in the first half of the log. The first pieces with uniform figure in defined waves that show great depth are true stunners. The center cuts of the log have very nice figure as well. The flitches from the second half of the set, pieces 9 thru 11 have light figure, but are color matched with the log and could be used in the same piece of furniture to give the eye a little rest after seeing the dramatic figure. There are no major defects or knots in this set, but there is some twist in these pieces to be dealt with. Extraordinary figured cherry!!!
