Clear, long and wide, minimal sapwood - Awesome! This log has some gum rings which are most obvious in piece number 1 - but the gum moves out to the edges of the slabs in the rest of the set. Looks cool! The thickness is measured as 7/4 becuase the wood is a bit thin where it was surfaced, but the rough sawn thickness is 8/4.
Awesome wood for a bartop or table project.
