This set had a good variation wider and narrow pieces/flatsawn and straight grain. Tons of clear wood to be had with only one major defect on the back half of the log (A central knot that fell out of the log but could be ripped to still yield nice pieces on either side of the knot). The figure in this set is also consistent and rolls down the length and down through the set like waves.
NOTE: Piece 21 was only measured at 6' in length to leave out the excess sap and slight twist. Though the back face still has some great heartwood
