A pretty nice set of wide Red Oak. Especially if you're looking for some wider straight grain pieces. Outer cuts are mostly clear with a small knot or two and some surface checks running down the middle. As you get into the middle cuts, the slabs begin to cup and split in the middle due to pith. straight grain sections around pith are clear though.
