Awesome duo of lightly figured sassafras. Faces are clear of defects with the exception of a small knot and crack at the butt end of piece 2. Almost immediately outside the flatsawn grain is super tight growth rings in the straight grain! Both pieces have also been surfaced on the top face to bring out the white color and figure.
