Soft Maple Flitches
SPECIES
Super wide soft maple log with a mix of character and clear faces in this HUGE log. A hint of figure can be seen on many of the pieces, mostly on the edges. The middle cuts of the log offer more character with some scattered solid knots. The outer cuts are nearly clear of any defects. Pieces 1, 2, & 12 are 8/4. Piece 13 is 5/4.
