Got a nice and clear set of curly Soft Maple right here! Only defects in the set are some ingrown bark and a small split or two near the but end of the set. While the figure in the set does appear stronger near the but end and then weakens down the length of the set, the figure is still prominent. A small section of a couple pieces were surfaced down to bring out and show the figure is still there. While the set is mostly white, once you get into the center cuts, the brown heartwood does show in the center of the full width pieces and on the squared edged of the narrow ones.
