The figure in this 10/4 soft maple set is very nice and consistent. There is some sap stain in the outer cuts from the log aging too long prior to being cut. The center cuts have large splits from one end and widths have been reduced to help compensate - the widths written on the slabs in the photos are full width.
Overall this is a great log with only minor defects, some color issues, but fantastic figure.
