Here's a full Birdpeck-y Steamed Walnut set. piece 3 was hit and miss surfaced to bring out the color of the log and show more Bird Peck.
A couple bird peck spots in a walnut log is a bummer, but when you find this much bird peck it becomes a cool feature. The bird peck causes small voids in the wood that creates dark streaks and movement in the grain. It's almost a marbled look.
