The first three slabs from the set of STEAMED walnut are super duper, wide clear and very duper. Slabs 7 and 8 are the center cut pieces and they share the pith as well as a couple spike knots. These pieces would make a nice character table top on their own, or else they could be made in to base parts using wide straight grain.
NOTE: pieces 5 and 6 are the only ones left in set
