SPECIES
A relatively clean set of unsteamed Walnut is long and wide. Unfortunately there is a big knot in the middle of the log that fell out and turned into rot near the center cuts. Bright side is that this clears up on the back half of the log. There is some crotch grain near the far end and middle of log, which caused the grain to really swirl around in both areas as well as the knot in the center of the log.
