Here is an awesome prime, heavily figured, and steamed walnut log! The full width flitches mostly have figure running the whole way across, with it being more dominate to the right side.
This log is nearly perfect, with only 1 or 2 knots and some voiding at the one end of a few pieces. Crotch grain with overlaying figure is noticeable at the top end of a few pieces with some open defect, but has been reduced in the length on the tally.
