This prime set of walnut was planed to show the color in the wood, however even surfaced we didn't show the color fairly. The dark streaks seen in the photos are due to some dull planer knives. What we wanted to show was the heavier sapwood in this set has been reduced from the measurements.
Each piece is roughly 80%+ surfaced and sitting between 7/8" and 15/16".
Note that pieces 1, 2, and 5 are a three-piece bookmatched sequence of boards. Piece 5 just got a bit out of order during handling.
This set is clear with only one little defect on piece 2.
