This walnut log set has very nice flatsawn faces in the first half of the log as well quite a bit of VG rift and quartersawn in pieces 5-10. The growth rings are nice and tight offering fine grain in this slow-grown log. There are some small traces of bird peck throughout the set. Great overall set for a variety of projects.
