Walnut Flitches

Got a big, mostly clear set of walnut here! There is some light sap checks on the edged and some bigger splits in this set but the wood is nice and clear. Reductions have been made to exclude the majority of defects from the tally.

The defining feature of this set is the dark streaks that run throughout the log. One was planed down and wet in a photo to show was the color actually looks like. It is a very cool look... using this as the full boule would be the perfect opportunity to match the color throughout a project.
