Walnut Slabs

This set of wide walnut slabs was cut from a crotch log. The outer slabs on both faces are solid and clear, for the most part. The wider, center-cuts, show an ingrown bark seam that was encapsulated by the fork in the tree.
The seam could be tied together with butterflies, filled with epoxy, covered with glass, or just left natural while making an impressive table top.
The slabs have dried very flat, and it's expected to be able to net 1.5" thickness out of most of these pieces.
The widths are measured at the mid-point of the length, but the widest parts from this log top 4 feet!
