Got a nice wide set of unsteamed walnut. This set is a mixture of more clear pieces and a character like slabs. The outer cuts start out most clear with an occasional knot/split. As you get into the center cuts, pith and knots begin to show. The center most cuts even have some dark streaks running through them that appears to be bird peck/bark pockets.
