SPECIES
Long set of unsteamed walnut. This log has two crotch grain areas; the butt end of the log, as well as the top end on the first half of the log.
There are some small ingrown bark areas, as well as some end splits in the first half of the log. A slight twist encompasses the log, with a major bow in piece 4. Piece 4 would be ideal for two straight grain pieces due to the pith splitting.
