Walnut Slabs

This thick walnut slab set certainly has some character going on. The top ends of the slabs have a void as well some splits. The bottom half of the slabs are pretty clear though, with minor to no defects.
Set 545477A offers great widths in most of the pieces, the center most slabs (4&5) were split and have one natural edge and one square edge - good for base material or shelves.
The color variations on the faces of the slabs are due to water marks from drying. We'll be re-posting photos of slab #2 soon which we will surface to show the true color of the walnut.
There is some metal in the butt end of this log which is identified by the blue stain above the white crayon numbers on most of the slabs.
The attached tally measure rounded length and middle of the slab widths. The slabs do average closer to 152". Reductions have been made for the voids.
