White Oak Flitches

We have a BIG log set here! With a mix of clearer to character pieces, this set has a lot of wood to work with. There are full length clear sections and short clear sections around various knots. At 6/4 it is a very versatile set which could be used for solid parts, or resawn for faces or panels. Imagine laying out a project with this much color-consistent wood. The end result would be stunning. And, if it's a very large project there is more wood where this came from...

The sapwood on one edge has also become punky, so reductions were made to exclude these edges from the tally. Some wider pieces with big splits were kept as one piece but tallied up as two separate pieces (17A, 17B, etc...).

NOTE: If you want/need more wood from the came log and need clearer Quarter/Rift pieces you can also request pack number 93671. The straight grain boards came from the next length of the same log... !!
