This log was squared into a 19" beambefore being milled into lumber. The consistent widths would be perfect for a series of bookmatched table tops, wall panels, stairs, or doors.
Check out the fiddle-back figure which is strongest in the first half of the log set. The entire set has some degree of character; from light features in the back half of the set to some scattered knots in the first half of the set. Pieces 5, 6, 7, 8 share the pith.
